ORLANDO, Fla. — After some light rain and chilly temperatures, Central Florida residents can look forward to a significant warmup this weekend.

The temperature highs up to the 70s.
More rain is expected on Sunday, bringing a shift in the weather pattern.
Following the weekend, a surge of arctic air will move down south, resulting in much colder conditions by Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Channel 9 Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry is closely monitoring the forecast, as there is potential for both rainfall and wintry precipitation in the sunshine state next Tuesday and Wednesday.
