2. Megacon
Fandoms unite! MEGACON Orlando returns to the Orange County Convention Center for an exciting weekend.
MEGACON is a celebration of pop culture that draws fans from all over the country.
The convention is filled with celebrity guests, unbelievable cosplay, interactive activities, and unforgettable experiences.
MEGACON Orlando will be held at the Orange County Convention Center from Feb. 6-9.

3. Celebrate the 4th annual Indigo Blues BBQ at the Central Florida Zoo
The Indigo Blues BBQ is an annual event organized by the Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring live music, BBQ tastings, and educational presentations about the Eastern indigo snake.

4. Orlando Polar Plunge: Special Olympics Florida
The annual Polar Plunge will take place on February 8 at Aquatica Orlando.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Orlando Polar Plunge.
The event serves as a fundraiser to support the athletes of Special Olympics Florida and has become a beloved tradition for people across Central Florida.
Aquatica Orlando describes the event as a giant pool party featuring music, food, and themed costumes.
This year, participants are encouraged to dress up in costumes that represent their favorite holiday.
5. Dezerland is Orlando’s New Home for Cars and Coffee
The Orlando Cars & Coffee event takes place at the Orlando Auto Museum, which showcases over 2,000 vehicles collectively.
This event allows local collectors and auto lovers to showcase their unique and rare vehicles, among those who share a passion for cars.
The Orlando Cars & Coffee event takes place on the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m to 11 a.m..

6. Dragons Love Tacos: The Musical”
The Orlando Family Stage is presenting an exciting musical adaptation of the bestselling children’s book, featuring colorful dragons who are passionate about tacos. 7. African American History Festival at the City of Mount Dora
The Mount Dora African American History Festival is an event that celebrates African American culture and heritage.
This festival will feature live musical performances, dynamic dance acts, and a variety of food.
It will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Cauley Lott Park, located at 1717 N. Highland Street, Mount Dora, Florida.
8. “A Beautiful Noise”: The Neil Diamond Musical
The musical “A Beautiful Noise” tells the inspiring story of Neil Diamond, a boy from Brooklyn who grew to become one of America’s most beloved rock icons.
The show is set to take place at the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center.
Performances will run from February 4 to February 9, 2025, with several showtimes, including afternoons and evenings.
