ORLANDO, Fla. — Welcome to the weekend; here are 9 things to do in Central Florida.
1. 2025 Zora! Festival Season Outdoor Festival of the Arts
The ZORA! Festival is the longest running arts and humanities festival that celebrates the cultural contributions of people of African ancestry. The 2025 Outdoor Festival of the Arts runs from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 along East Kennedy Boulevard.
Time for the ZORA! Festival is as follows:
- Friday, Jan. 31: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 1: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 2: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

2. 50th Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival
The arts festival will be on the streets of downtown Mount Dora. There will be 300 artists lined along the streets to showcase different art styles. The city said there would be entertainment and festival food. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The festival if free to attend.

3. Faded Kingdom Beer Festival
The City of Orlando said the Faded Kingdom is a celebration of the Orlando Beer Scene. Tactical Brewing and Brewed Events have invited breweries from all over the country to join forces with local Orlando breweries for the beer festival. People attending can expect over 50 breweries from outside of Olrnado and from the great Orlando area.
The festival will take place on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Tactical Brewing from 12pm to 4pm.
4. Jerry Seinfeld at Dr. Phillips Center
Prepare for a night of laughter. Jerry Seinfeld, a master of comedy best known for his iconic show Seinfeld, will be in Orlando. He will perform live at the Walt Disney Theatre, Dr. Phillips Center, on Saturday.

5. Sporting events happening in Central Flordia
Solar Bears v.s. Florida Everblades
When: Saturday, February 1, 7:00 p.m. | Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
Where: Kia Center
The Orlando Solar Bears host their interstate rival the Florida Everblades in a back to back home games. The Everblades lead the rivalry with a 43-30-1 record.
2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games
When: Sunday, Feb. 2, 3:00 p.m.
Where: Camping World Stadium
The NFL’s best faceoff in a 7-on7 flag football game between the AFC and NFC. The two conferences will play three games with four 12-minute quarters each. At the end of the games, conferences will add their total points scored in the finale to their points accumulated from the skills competition and a 2025 Pro Bowl Games winner will be crowned!
6. 9 Family Connection: Dezerland Action Park
Join 9 Family Connection and our partners McCoy Federal Credit Union, Stanley Steemer and The UPS Store on Saturday, February 1st for Family Fest!
The fun begins at noon at Dezerland Action Park! There’s something for the whole family, from kids characters, the diaper derby, family-friendly vendors, and more!
Admission is free, and parking is free.
7. Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval
Universal Orlando Resort’s wildly popular event, Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, begins this Saturday. The event starts on February 1 and runs daily through Sunday, March 30. It invites guests to celebrate 30 years of beads, parades, music, and food. Visiting guests can enjoy all the fun as part of regular theme park admission to Universal Studios Florida.
8. Ace Cafe Sanford Breaks Ground celebration
Ace Cafe Sanford officially breaks ground, along with the Misfires Car Club Groundhog Gala. The event will be on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 11:30 a.m. The cafe said hundreds of cars and bikes will be revving in unison. According to the news release, over 300 00 Pre-1964 Classic Hot Rods, Trucks, & Motorbikes will be onsite celebrating “The Groundhog Gala” 25th Anniversary Car Show.

9. Swoon Over Bloody Fun Flicks at Cinemark
Cinemark is showing five days of screams with the “Love You to Death” series leading up to the movie release of Heart Eyes on Feb. 7. Cinemark said it will be bringing beloved horror moves back to the theaters.
