The Orlando Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance between a man and woman at the 2800 block of Shining Willow Terrace.
Police said they made contact with a 26-year-old black man outside of the house.

OPD said that the man disobeyed the order, jumped the fence near him, and ran.
Officers said the man cut off and told him to get on the ground and not reach for the gun.

The police department said, as a result, officers shot the man.
Officers said they attempted life-saving measures on the man, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
