MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The Marion County Sheriffs Officer said one person was found dead following a shooting on Saturday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened at 3 a.m. at the 1200 block of Southwest Shorewood Drive in the Rainbow Lakes Estate subdivision.
Deputies said upon arrival, they found an adult man deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

Major crime detectives said they are investigating the events surrounding the shooting.
The Sheriffs Officer said all parties involved have been accounted for and are being interviewed.
