ORLANDO, Fla. — Dark magic is returning to Universal Orlando Resort this fall, bringing Death Eaters and a fan-favorite Hogwarts show back to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Universal announced “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” will return to Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure for the first time since 2022.
The nighttime show transforms Hogwarts castle with projections, special effects, lights and music from the “Harry Potter” films.
Guests will see Dementors, Death Eaters and other followers of Lord Voldemort take over the castle.
“Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” will run on select nights from Sept. 5 through Nov. 1.
The darker side of magic will also make its way to Universal Studios Florida, where guests can come face-to-face with Death Eaters in Diagon Alley.
Lord Voldemort’s followers will roam the streets and shadows of Knockturn Alley on select nights from Aug. 27 through Nov. 1.
Universal is also releasing Dark Arts-inspired merchandise for the season, including a new Second Generation Interactive Wand modeled after the wand used by Lord Voldemort.
Guests looking for more Dark Arts merchandise can also stop by Borgin and Burkes, the shop tucked away in Knockturn Alley.
The Death Eaters will begin appearing Aug. 27, followed by the return of “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” on Sept. 5. Both offerings will continue on select nights through Nov. 1.
