Central Florida braces for temperature swings and potential winter weather

ORLANDO, Fla. — Big changes in temperature are coming to Central Florida weather.

This Saturday, we can expect temperatures to rise into the upper 70s, bringing a brief warm-up.

Sunday is set to bring likely rain.

As arctic air sweeps through the lower 48, we may see the potential for winter weather along the Interstate-10 corridor by early Tuesday into Wednesday morning.

Rain and a winter mix could reach as far south as northern Marion County, with the possibility of icy roads and bridges in our northern regions, particularly Marion and Flagler, by Wednesday morning.
