ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman died after a pickup truck struck her Friday morning in east Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m., troopers responded to Cedarhurst Road and North 6th Street in Bithlo.
Investigators said a Ford F-150 truck struck the woman at that location.

Troopers have not yet identified the pedestrian but said she died at a nearby hospital.
The truck’s driver, 35, of Orlando, and his passenger were unhurt and stayed at the scene following the collision, investigators said.
As of 10:30 a.m., FHP continued to report roadblock in the area.
