Downtown bar Sly Fox Pub, its management company Garito & Co. LLC and owner Timothy Garito have been sued by Maxwell Helman, a Warped Pour co-founder. The case was filed in the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court on March 6.
Helman is among a group of friends and colleagues that in recent months launched a new bar in Wall Street Plaza, around the corner from his former employer’s venue. He and another co-founder TJ Harris worked as bartenders at Sky Fox Lounge, they previously told Orlando Business Journal.
“We needed to do something new,” Helman said at the time. “We had to get out of there.”
