VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Volusia Couty Sheriff’s Office arrests a Deltona Middle School student for making a bomb threat on a school bus in Deltona.

Volusia Couty Sheriff’s Office said the juvenile made a verbal threat on a school bus Friday morning.

According to deputies, the student stood up on the bus and claimed another student had a bomb in his backpack.
The bus was stopped, searched, and the kid was taken into custody. No signs of any device or weapon were found according to deputies.
