Deputies found the fish, also known as a mola mola, stuck at shore along a pier.

They were able to tie a rope around the massive fish and pull it back away from shore.

And with a final big push, the large fish was on its way.

Officials said ocean sunfish are clumsy swimmers and can weigh nearly 5,000 pounds.
