DELEON SPRINGS, Fla. — Deputies in Volusia County jumped into action Tuesday to save a man on an out-of-control boat.
Deputies said the man driving the boat had suffered a medical episode and was lying unconscious on the boat’s deck.
People spotted that boat spinning in circles on Lake Dias in DeLeon Springs.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office marine unit pulled up next to that boat, and then a first responder jumped on board.
They were able to get the boat under control and move the man to the sheriff’s vessel.

First responders rushed that man back to the dock for treatment.

Officials said he is expected to recover fully.
