OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies in Osceola County said a man was arrested and charged with animal cruelty.

Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez said the incident was also captured on video.
Lopez announced the arrest of 28-year-old Marco Zuluaga on Monday.

Investigators said he threw a small Australian Sheppard dog on the floor so hard that he hurt his shoulder in the process.
He told deputies he was angry because the dog went to the bathroom on a rug.

Deputies took the dog to the vet and it is expected to make a full recovery.
