Unsettled weather ahead for Sunday, with rain, storms and wind.

ORLANDO, Fla. — The best chance for rain and storms is in the morning through the early afternoon as a cold front approaches the area.

Some storms may be intense, with gusty winds the biggest concern. Today’s highs will be in the low 70s.

Behind the front, much cooler air marches in tonight. The clouds will remain in place, with morning lows in the mid 40s.

Monday, MLK Day, will be mostly dry, with plenty of chilly air. Highs for the holiday will only be in the low 60s, with some showers possible Monday night.

Midweek will bring more active weather. Rounds of cold rain are likely on Tuesday and Wednesday, with breezy conditions. Temperatures for both days will only be in the mid-50s.

A wintry mix of weather is likely in North Florida Tuesday night into early Wednesday, with light freezing rain possibly in far northern Marion County.

Another round of rain is likely on Thursday as another storm system rolls through the area. Temps for Thursday will be in the low 60s.

Drier weather finally returns late week, but temps will remain in the 50s.
