PORT ORANGE, Fla. — A new sports facility that could strengthen the tourism industry is moving forward in Volusia County.
County leaders hired a tourism planning company to look into a motocross facility in Port Orange.
The company will look into a public-private partnership to manage the site. Leaders say this will reduce county responsibility.
