BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket Monday evening from Florida’s Space Coast.

The rocket lifted off at 7:51 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station for the RRT-1 mission.

The mission will deliver a GPS satellite into orbit for the U.S. Space Force.

The launch had been delayed on Friday and again over the weekend.
SpaceX said it also planned to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast on Tuesday afternoon.
