ORLANDO, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis made a major announcement in Orlando on Thursday.

The governor announced at a new concertante that he intends to nominate Attorney General Ashley Moody to replace Sen. Macro Rubio if he is confirmed as President-elect Donald Trump’s Secretary of State.

DeSantis made the announcement from the Rosen Plaza Hotel on International Drive.
