Thursday: New boat attraction launches from Kissimmee Lakefront Park

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The City of Kissimmee is celebrating a brand new way for you to experience the beauty of the area’s natural resources and wildlife.

On Thursday, city leaders will gather at Kissimmee Lakefront Park Marina to officially launch the “EcoTour Services” boat attraction.

The boat ride will offer guests guided tours on Lake Tohopekaliga and Shingle Creek, where organizers said they can relax and learn about local wildlife and ecosystems.

City officials said the 44-foot pontoon boat, operated by Florida Everglades Eco-Toon Tours, “is family-friendly, pet-friendly, ADA-accessible, and eco-conscious, ensuring a fun and educational experience for everyone.”

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 1 p.m. Thursday.

Lakefront Park Marina is located at 69 Lakeview Drive in Kissimmee.
