Sunny skies and warmer highs Thursday in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida will continue to see sunny skies and warmer days.

Our area will have plenty of sunshine on Thursday once the morning fog burns away.

Along with the heavy dose of sunshine will be easterly and southeasterly winds bringing more warm air into the region.

Highs will climb into the upper 70s Thursday afternoon.

Mostly clear skies are expected Thursday night, with another round of fog likely.

Friday morning will see lows will be in the upper 50s.

Our first 80-degree day of the year is on track for Friday.

Expect partly cloudy skies to close out the work week, with highs in the low 80s.

Things will then change when our next storm system arrives over the weekend.

The system will produce plenty of clouds Saturday and a few widely scattered showers. Most will stay dry, with highs in the low 70s.

An isolated shower now looks possible for the Pro Bowl Games Sunday, but much of the day should remain dry.

We’ll see partly sunny skies Sunday and temps in the upper 70s.

More warmth is ahead next week, with a blend of sun and clouds and highs in the 80s.

An isolated shower will be possible again by the middle of next week.
