Everyone, including dog, survives plane crash in Brevard County

MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla. — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says Wednesday’s plane crash in Brevard County yielded no casualties.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the small plane went down in the Indian River around 2 p.m. It was near the Beachwood condos along River Villa Way in Melbourne Beach.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission aided deputies in the rescue.

The commission says preliminary reports show two people and a dog were on board the single-engine plane. They wee all rescued safely and made it to shore.

The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash
