SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The course is provided to help first responders improve threat neutralization by utilizing the golden standard National Active Shooter incident checklist.

11 full-scale scenarios are presented to the students, which become significantly challenging as they progress.
The scenarios range from basic attacks to even more complex and coordinated incidents involving multiple changing variables.

The latest technology was provided to the sixty attendees to provide an immersive experience.
For example, the photorealistic 3D environments provided during the course allow participants to feel like they are in the middle of the action.

The Active Shooter Incident Management course is free to local agencies.
Participants included law enforcement, EMS personnel and dispatch, to name a few.
