BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Two lunar landers are now on their way to the Moon.

They took a ride on a rocket just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 lit the night sky around the Kennedy Space Center.

On board was Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost lunar lander.
It will land on the Moon in about 45 days, with NASA payloads for science and tech demonstrations.

A lander for a Japanese company was also on board the Falcon 9 rocket.
The ispace RESILIENCE lunar lander is set to arrive in four to five months.
