ORLANDO, Fla. — Red Cross volunteers from across Central Florida are headed to California.

They plan to stay in southern California for around two weeks to help out as the devastating fires continue.
The group is set to fly out of Orlando International Airport and land in Los Angeles County.

The deadly fire outbreak has shocked the nation as at least five people have been killed and thousands of homes and businesses have been destroyed.
Wind and drought conditions have fueled multiple fires, that are still far from contained.
Reports show the fires have caused around 130,000 people to evacuate.
The mass evacuations have led to gridlock and forced some to abandon their vehicles.
