WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Police in Winter Haven are investigating a violent hit-and-run crash.

The Winter Haven Police Department said a video showed a Jeep Gladiator slam into the front of a parked car in front of a home on Lake Smart Circle on Dec. 5.
After the intense crash, the person behind the wheel of the Jeep drove off, officers said.

The dark-colored, late-model Jeep was equipped with large wheels and color-changing neon lights under the frame.
Police said the crash has left a young mother without transportation for her and her kids.
