Police investigating overnight shooting in Titusville

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Multiple police agencies arrived on the scene of a shooting that happened overnight in Titusville

The incident happened around 9 pm in the area of South Robbins Ave. and Pine St.

Titusville Police released the following statement:

An Officer Involved shooting occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Friday February 7, 2025, in the area of Robbins Ave in Titusville.

Officers had responded to the area shortly after 9pm reference to a suspicious incident investigation. Officers encountered an individual armed with a handgun and shots were fired.

An adult male suspect was transported to the hospital for a gunshot injury and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The Titusville Officers involved in the shooting were not injured.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) responded to the scene and is conducting the investigation into the shooting.

Brevard County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to process the forensics/evidence portion of the investigation.

Further information will be released at the conclusion of FDLE’s investigation.
