LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A large, overturned truck had a section of Florida’s Turnpike shut down Friday morning in Lake County.

Troopers confirmed the crash has been cleared, and the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike have reopened in the area.
Original report:
The crash happened around 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the turnpike near mile marker 280.
A large truck overturned and spilled the contents it was hauling in the roadway.

The large truck is seen on its side and is blocking all lanes of traffic in the area.

Crews are responding to the scene, and it’s unclear how long the roadway will be blocked.
