ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — The Ormond Beach Police Department says scammers are pretending to be them.
The department says someone is making fake profiles and messaging people looking for payment spots from vendors for their National Night Out.
The department says vendor spots are totally free and anyone requesting payment is fraudulent.
