Some Orlando neighborhoods are struggling in important metrics that signify instability.

For residents of Parramore and areas adjacent, poverty, high school dropout rates and vacancy rates are the highest in the region.

These components combine to form an “instability index,” a measurement created by Buffalo Business First – an Orlando Business Journal sister newspaper – and follows a similar theory as Jimmy Carter’s misery index, according to Buffalo Business First.
