ORLANDO, Fla. — To help you decide where to count down the new year, WalletHub compared 100 of the biggest cities in the US to figure out which 5 were the best.

The ranking was based on 26 key factors, such as fireworks, nightlife, and the affordability of food and lodging.
After all of these categories were considered, it was found that Orlando ranks as the 2nd best city to plan your New Year’s celebrations, just behind New York City. The City Beautiful was barely beaten out by The Big Apple by a margin of less than one point.
