Orlando police seek driver who hit a bicyclist and left the scene

ORLANDO, Fla. — Police are asking the public’s help to find the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash with a bicyclist on Monday night, according to Orlando police.

Around 10:40 p.m., a bicyclist was struck by a black mid-size SUV at the intersection of South Kirkman Road and Raleigh Street.

The vehicle fled the scene, continuing northbound.

The bicyclist sustained significant injuries in the crash, police said.

The suspect vehicle is possibly a Honda CR-V or a similar SUV, with visible damage on the front driver’s side bumper and a distinctive silver roof rail.
