ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orlando Health time capsule will connect generations of Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital healthcare workers.

Each department contributed items to a new time capsule representing their commitment to patient care. In 2000, the capsule’s contents were buried within a wall near the chapel.

Items were placed in a new time capsule that will represent their efforts to heal and care for patients, especially during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The hospital’s staff will open the time capsule in 2050.

Philip Koovakada, president of Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, supported the team by giving interviews about the special time and sharing with everyone why this reveal is important.
