Space Perspective's financial turbulence: Airport authority files eviction case

Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority on Jan. 14 filed a legal complaint against Space Perspective Inc., the local company planning to fly passengers to space in a luxury lounge carried by an object reminiscent of a hot air balloon, according to Brevard County court records.

Space Perspective — an Orlando Inno Fire Award winner — has until Jan. 22 to vacate the premises, according to a summons signed Jan. 17.

The company allegedly is behind on rent payments by $90,295 for the period between May 1-Nov. 12, 2024.
