ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A multi-vehicle crash on the 417 North in Orange County sent a state trooper and a truck driver to the hospital with minor injuries.
It happened when a semi-truck, while changing lanes, crashed into a Toyota Camry. Then, a Dodge truck slammed into both vehicles, flipped over and landed on a trooper’s cruiser.
Fortunately, the trooper wasn’t in the cruiser when it happened and managed to avoid the crash. However, the impact sent the cruiser careening into traffic, where it collided with a Buick.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the driver of the Dodge truck and the trooper sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The other individuals involved in the crash were reported to be unharmed.
