WATERFORD LAKES , Fla. — The community will join at the Waterford Lakes Town Center on Saturday as attendees are encouraged to peacefully march in protest of mass deportation, women’s rights, freedom of speech and LGBTQIA+ rights.

The march aims to raise awareness of all sides of the debate regarding policy adjustments. This will also magnify the change of tone it has set for the Waterford Lakes community and surrounding areas.

The march will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday at 413 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL.

These local reactions come as President Trump has recently signed several executive orders to tighten immigration enforcement.

One of the orders, titled “Protecting The American People Against Invasion,” aims to speed up deportations, increase the number of immigration officers and cut federal funding to sanctuary cities.
