Arrest made in home invasion where victim was left severely battered inside their vehicle

Orlando Police Officers responded to a home invasion that led to the arrest of Ronald D. Davis

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Police Officers responded to a home invasion that led to the arrest of Ronald D. Davis, who was found sleeping inside a shed on a residential property just a few miles from where the invasion took place.

A few miles from the victim’s residence, Davis was picked up and charged with three counts.

The charges are as follows: Home invasion robbery with a weapon, aggravated battery of a person over 65 with great bodily harm, and aggravated battery with a weapon.

Officers responded to a home invasion on Caribbean Court, where the victim’s husband arrived home to find his wife severely battered inside their vehicle. The victim was in the garage then, pressing the horn for help.

The husband reported on his 911 call that an unknown Black male forcibly entered their home and brutally attacked his elderly wife.

The victim was later transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.
