The district believes this was a fun and interactive way for kids to learn the value of eating a healthy breakfast.
“Well, we want them to enjoy it because we don’t want it to go from the serving line into the trash. We want it to go into their stomachs because a nutritional meal helps them. Less disciplinary problems they can learn easier”, said Mark Watson, Senior Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
