‘From One to Many’: SpaceX set for Friday night rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX crews are preparing to launch a Falcon 9 rocket Friday from Florida’s Space Coast.

The 229-minute launch window will open at 10:39 p.m. from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The launch is in support of the Astranis “From One to Many” mission.

SpaceX said this will be the 17th flight for the Falcon 9′s first-stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-5, GPS III Space Vehicle 06, Inmarsat I6-F2, CRS-28, NG-20, TD-7, and nine Starlink missions.

After the launch SpaceX planes to land the booster on its “A Shortfall of Gravitas” droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.

If the launch doesn’t happen on Friday, another opportunity will be open at 12 a.m. on Sunday.
