New German flight leads Orlando company to add jobs here

A new international connection for Orlando International Airport had led to new jobs for a local company.

Discover Airlines — the leisure airline of Lufthansa Group — on March 3, 2025, will start three weekly flights to Munich Airport. Because of this, Dubai-based air and travel services firm dnata will add 50 jobs at the airport as part of a $3 million investment.

The investment by the company — whose U.S. headquarters is in Orlando — includes 14 electric ground support vehicles, digital check-in and baggage kiosks, as well as virtual reality training for employees. Dnata also has the potential to add more jobs at the airport in the future.
