New coffee shop, retail project headed to Kissimmee

A new coffee shop and retail building have been proposed for development at the northwest corner of E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway/U.S. Hwy 192 and Big Sky Boulevard in unincorporated Osceola County.

The project site of approximately 1.16 acres in Kissimmee was purchased for $1.2 million on Nov. 25 by Big Sky Corner LLC, an entity tied to Mohamed Diab of SunDev Properties in Orlando, according to government records.

It is not yet known what brands will lease the buildings. A SunDev representative told Orlando Business Journal that it was too early to comment on the project which went through a pre-application process on Jan. 7, but stated that plans for additional development along U.S. 192 also are in the works.
