Marion County teen sentenced to 25 years in Florida prison for rape of 91-year-old woman

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Marion County teen Jesse Stone was sentenced to 25 years in prison and another 30 years of sex offender probation Friday afternoon.

“His actions are egregious and victim is lucky to be alive,” Judge Lisa Herndon said.

Sheriff’s investigators said Jesse Stone broke into the 91-year-old’s Reddick home in June of last year.

Detectives said Stone, who was 14-years-old at the time, beat and sexually battered the woman.

Investigators charged him as an adult and Stone pleaded guilty in November.
