Man shot, killed in dispute at Orange County home, officials report

APOPKA, Fla. — Initial reports from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed reports of a shooting that happened in a home in Apopka.

Around 1:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 500 block of West Ella J Gilmore Street in Apopka regarding a shooting.

When deputies arrived, they found a man in his 20s who had been shot.

He was transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. All parties involved remained on the scene.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
