ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Magic’s Tristan da Silva and Mac McClung have been selected to participate in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars game Friday, Feb. 14, part of NBA Allstar Weekend.

The player pool Castrol Rising Stars consists of 10 NBA rookies, 11 second-year NBA players and seven NBA G League players.
The 21 NBA players, selected by NBA assistant coaches, will be drafted onto three seven-player teams.
The seven NBA G League players, selected by the league office, will comprise the fourth team.
New this season, the winner of the tournament will advance to play in the inaugural NBA All-Star Game tournament.

Da Silva has played in 44 games this season for Orlando (34 starts), averaging 8.8 ppg., 4.2 rpg. and 1.8 apg. in 26.3 minpg., while shooting .841% from the free throw line.
McClung has played and started in nine games during the regular season with Osceola of the NBA G League, averaging 23.4 ppg., 6.2 apg. and 3.0 rpg. in 33.5 minpg.
13 players have previously represented the Orlando Magic during the Rising Stars game. Past participants include: Anfernee Hardaway (1994), Mike Miller (2001, 2002), Dwight Howard (2005, 2006), Jameer Nelson (2006 out with injury), Andrew Nicholson (2013), Nikola Vučević (2013), Victor Oladipo (2014, 2015), Elfrid Payton (2015, 2016), Mario Hezonja (2016), Cole Anthony (2022), Jalen Suggs (2022), Franz Wagner (2022, 2023) and Paolo Banchero (2023, 2024).
