ORLANDO, Fla. — A large winter storm is sweeping across the country, delivering snow, sleet, and freezing rain to many areas, but Central Florida will see much milder impacts.

Future Track 9 shows light rain moving into the region before dawn on Saturday, followed by mostly cloudy skies.

Afternoon temperatures are expected to climb into the 60s, making for a comfortable day despite the clouds.

Overall, the weekend will remain pleasant, with no significant weather disruptions anticipated locally.

While the storm will create hazardous travel conditions in other parts of the U.S., Central Florida residents can look forward to a calm and cool start to their weekend.
