LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was pronounced deceased and another was injured in a Lake County crash that occurred earlier this morning.

While approaching County Road 33, the sedan driver failed to stop completely at a stop sign. According to the report, the driver ran off the road.

The vehicle became airborne over a ditch, striking a tree and overturned.
The driver of the vehicle has reported minor injuries.
However, the passenger of the car was pronounced deceased at the hospital after transport.
