LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A judge in Lake County will decide if a man involved in a fight on a golf course can use a “stand your ground” defense.

Investigators say dentist Eddie Orobitg hit Dr. Joe Sivak with a golf club during a fight in 2023.
Deputies said the dentist confronted the doctor and his wife about walking on the cart path.

The doctor suffered broken ribs, facial fractures, and nerve damage.
However, the dentist says he was defending himself.
