SANFORD, Fla. — Hernon Manufacturing Inc. announced the expansion of its operations in Sanford, opening a $2.8 million facility at 120 Tech Drive in Seminole County.
The new 13,000-square-foot building is located directly across from the company’s 60,000-square-foot headquarters. The facility was acquired to boost operational efficiency, handle rising product demand, and improve supply chain reliability.
Hernon originally relocated to the Orlando region from New York in 1990. The company specializes in manufacturing sealants, adhesives, and precision application equipment. Its products include anaerobic and UV-curable adhesives used in precision assembly across industries such as aerospace, medical devices, electronics, and automotive manufacturing.
Harry Arnon is the president and CEO of Hernon Manufacturing Inc. The new building will house the company’s equipment department. “We acquired and renovated the building across from our headquarters specifically for our equipment department so we can expand production of dispensing systems and UV curing equipment,” Arnon said. “Sanford offers the business climate, community support, and operational efficiency that make expanding here the smart decision.”
Clear connections were facilitated by the Orlando Economic Partnership, which supported Hernon during the expansion by connecting the company with industry partners and helping plan and promote the grand opening.
