VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Officials in Volusia County are reporting that a shooting that took place last night ended in the gunman being stabbed.

Deputies responded to a shooting incident reported around 1:42 a.m. Sunday on Flamingo Road in Oak Hill.
Initial information released indicates that the gunman was at a house party, where he fired at another partygoer but missed.

The shooter was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, and detectives are responding to investigate further.
