BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — A South Florida woman said she had some police officers to thank for making her Christmas special.

Officers responded to Marie Bracey’s home just before Thanksgiving.
They came because someone stole Christmas decorations from her yard.

She says the same thief later came back and stole another decoration.
The officers who investigated the thefts later got the idea to surprise her.

The officers got her a new snowman decoration.
She said the act of kindness will remind her of them for every Christmas to come.
