AAA said state gas prices fell 15 cents over the past week.
On Sunday, the auto club reported the average price for a gallon of regular in Florida was $3.07, down from last week’s high of $3.22.

AAA said the decline came thanks to a drop in the price of crude oil.
“Earlier this month, oil prices rose to multi-month highs due to frigid temps in the southern U.S. and sanctions on Russian crude. Now, oil prices are back down to where they were to start the year, allowing gas prices to fall too,” AAA’s Mark Jenkins said.

Jenkins said as of Sunday, 2025′s “pinball” prices at the pump had ranged from $3.06 to $3.23 per gallon in Florida.
But on Monday, AAA data showed that the state average dropped to $3.05 per gallon.
The average per gallon in Central Florida counties ranged from $2.90 in Flagler to $3.13 in Polk.
So if your average-sized gas tank is just about on “E” and you’re looking to fill it up, expect to pay roughly $45.
