Fisherman accidentally crashes car into Indian River in Cocoa

COCOA, Fla. — A fisherman in Cocoa is back on dry land after crashing his car into the water.

Cocoa police said the man was parked near the seawall on a fishing trip near the Hubert Humphrey Bridge.

Police said the man accidentally drove into the Indian River when he went to move his car.

He was able to get out of the car, and then the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office helped police remove his car from the water.
